The core business of MMV consists of marine-based missions such as ship building, ship conversion and repair of all types of large marine vessels.

We work with all vessels in the sectors of tanker, dry cargo, offshore, car and passenger ferries and cruise ships. Our special disciplines lie within steel, plumbing, mechanical work and, in cooperation with suppliers, turnkey solutions. We consider it our mission to defend and further develop the Swedish maritime knowledge, generated during over 75 years, as one of the world's leading ship building nations.

Survived and conquered the ship building crisis

MMV was founded in 1984, in the midst of the largest ship building crisis the industry has ever seen, with the aim to offer small and medium-sized Swedish and foreign companies technical management and maintenance, repair and alteration service.

The company not only survived, but soon flourished and to this day remains a force to be reckoned with in the ship building industry. Apart from our expertise in maritime building projects we offer good management, which entails high quality and reliable delivery times, at competitive prices. Now offering our services to the industry as well

In addition to our core business, MMV has been involved in the energy sector relating to nuclear, coal and waste incineration plants and refineries, sewage plants, and even odd activities such as fire protection installations over the years. We recently started addressing ourselves to the rest of the industry as well as to the marine one.
